Has there been any talk of customizations finally being implemented for the campaign?

It adds an extreme amount of replay when I can choose the guns I want for a whole map, turn on infinite ammo or not, decide that I want all 8 grenades to be plasmas, and stuff like that. It allows a player to play the game how they want to do it, then when they want to try it another way, they have the option to do that.

So far the customization options have been the skulls, which are cool, but tend to narrow my playstyle options more than opening them up as I have to fight in specific ways to be the most effective against tougher opponents.

If these options are unlockable by playing the game a lot, that works, I just want more options for the campaign and there is no reason not to include options and give players a choice on what they want to do after already playing through it the standard way.

Yeah, give yourself infinite ammo rockets and snipers with 8 stickies.

Not happening.

It would block achievements of course silly. It's a good idea. Of course you would have to beat the game first though.

besides with only 4 hours of gameplay something like this would increase replay value x2

Two makes there more than speakers.

You can't change gameplay. Only how you look... And I think it's only in firefight.

It just feels so outdated to not have these as it's the main reason I stopped playing Halo 3's campaign, there was just nothing else to do. I wanted to use the pistols indefinitely to try them out but there is no ammo around. And it feels really silly killing my friends in co-op to get their ammo to keep using a particular weapon.

And I'm not begging for anything other than more reasons to keep playing the game. If they want me to put the game away on a bookshelf, then yeah, not including more options is how you do it.

the scarce ammo is exactly what we need!

the other halo games spoiled us with multitudes of ammo and power weapons

For an intense first run of a campaign? Sure, I can see that.

But once I've beaten it 5 times and want to do something different though? It just means your gameplay is narrowed down and you will be doing the same thing.

Doing the same thing get boring really fast. If I have beaten the game multiple times and want to blow myself up with 3 people flinging rockets around, why not? If I want to go all non stop assault rifles (crazy, but fun!), why should this not be allowed?

Especially the grenade option, obviously I can carry 8 grenades, if I don't want fire grenades why can't those slots be filled with something else? That's just silly and again narrows your game play experience.

So am I just taking crazy pills here or is nobody able to think up a reason why something like this shouldn't finally be implemented in a Halo game when I've been dying for it since combat evolved?

I love when nobody can think of a reason to not include more game play options in a game series that is years and years old. Lazy.
