Subject: Should the arbiter be in the game?

Dear Floodians:

A Girl thread a day keeps the ladies at bay and gets us banned, the lonely single way.

A new Arbiter is possible, and would be awesome.

But the question is: Would they choose a fast and agile Arbiter (Halo 2 and 3) or rather the bulky badass Arbiter (Halo wars)?

Edit: Prevented some confusion.

do you know any thing about cannon. the arbiter in halo wars dies in halo wars. and the arbiter who is in halo 2 and halo 3 doesnt become the arbiter untill halo 2.

He still could be in the game but don't expect to see him unless he is in a cutscene. I can't remember is he lead the attack on Reach and Halo or just one of those two. I know he failed at protecting Halo so I am assuming that he didn't attack Reach but I don't know I forget.

I forgot to quote another guy, I was trying to say that a NEW Arbiter would be possible and I was wondering IF they add a new one, who he'd resemble more, the Halo Wars one, or the Halo 2/3 one.

Sorry If it confused you, I'll edit it.

How do you know so sure? It's possible as we don't know if there was an Arbiter between the Halo Wars one and the Halo2/3 one.

Recent K/D ratio 2:1

Recent games is either 1st or 2nd place mostly.

at the time the Arbiter was a fleet commander tasked with the destruction of reach,so in a matter of words he was 'there'

No, he was never at Reach.

Yes he was. He was in a capital ship and was a Supreme Commander just before he lost Halo to the humans.

Please do not send me group invites, i will not accept or reply to them.

I don't think they will just put Arbiter in their because we say so, there is a story it needs to follow.

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

Halo: Reach is in between the time frame of two arbiters. The Halo Wars arbiter, and the Halo 2/3 arbiter. Thus, Bungie could introduce a new arbiter in Halo: Reach.

I love the entire Halo series, Halo 2 being my favorite of the games. I think that the universe is compelling and the story is deep, sweeping, and powerful. The hidden layers in the Halo trilogy and rich details of the backstory in the novels are something I love to be lost in, and im greatly looking forward to the story that Halo: Reach will weave. Bungie has carefully and lovingly crafted a mythic tale that will stay etched in my mind until the end.

i really do not understand why the halo story is confusing you guys. Im seeing arguments that go so far as to somehow confuse the Halo Wars Arbiter with the Halo 2 Arbiter, and just in general how big a deal the community is making out of such a simplistic, yet amazing, overall story.

The Arbiter from Halo Wars will have nothing to do with Halo: Reach.

The Arbiter from Halo 2 and Halo 3 was present at Reach as it was being destroyed.

Arbiter-"There was only one ship."
Prophet- "One? Are you sure?"
Arbiter-"Yes, they called it, The Pillar of Autumn."
Prophet-"Why was it not destroyed with the rest of their fleet?!?"
Arbiter-"It fled, as we set fire to their planet, but i followed with all the ships at my command."

That was from the beginning of Halo 2. Now that its proven that the Arbiter was at least present at the destruction of Reach, the only question is whether Bungie will somehow give the Arbiter a cameo appearance in Halo: Reach to please the fans of the Arbiter's story branch that some people for some reason did not like or somehow did not understand, regardless of how easy to understand the Arbiter's story actually is and how easy to understand Halo 2 and Halo 3's story is too.
