First of the bat just a little eye candy from concept art for the halo MMO along time ago.
Ok, since nothing is yet known except for the fact that this is an FPS and not anything else we can assume many different things and quite a bit of the stuff floating out there on the interwebs is that it going to be class based. I have a few ideas on what those classes are going to be.
Solder:
Basic combat class would be outfitted with an smg/AR and a magnum.
LVL up: Maybe start with SMG and work your way up to AR, gain ability to dual wield weapons. reduce loading time, ad scope to AR(still no head shot and not as far of a scope as the BR)
Sniper:
Obvious long range class would be outfitted with a sniper and a BR.
LVL up: Adding more zoom to your sniper or BR, reducing reload time. adding small motion tracker(10m) on sniper scope. increase in movement
Heavy / Engineer:
Primary weapons Rockets(2 ammo) and SMG, also has ability to build a Turret that anyone can use.
LVL up: Earn more rocket ammo. unlock SpLazar. ability to dual wield, BAle to build more turrets and maby creat an Auto turret(obviously not as powerfully and with shorter range
Scout / Demo:
Primary weapons BR and Suppressed SMG(for more stealthy killing) explosive charges of some sort. also has ability to place way points on map for other teammates.
LVL up: unlock Suppressed BR. be able to place more charges, unlock 30 sec of cloak, ability to put different types of way points down.
I have other ideas but not as flushed out as these comment and post your own wanted classes. also there is a Covie side to this with their own unique classes.
