I really didn't bother when the characters were first announced at the Recon helmet thinking it was just a funny joke Bungie was playing on people that play Halo 3. But then when I saw it on the trailer and the Meet the Squad on the front page I realized it was serious.

Does anyone else think that the Recon helmet is not only stupid to put on an ODST soldier, doesn't have to do with anything Halo related besides a made-up armor permutation on Halo 3, and most importantly it's HUGE. The helmet is 5x the size of the woman that is wearing it.

What the hell?

The canon is is that all the MP maps and Armors are canon. So yes, the Covenant have a room that looks like one from a Forerunner facility (Cold Storage/Chill Out). Also,I think it's a modified, non brain/skull liquifiying Recon.

She's not an ODST, She's an ONI.

Please explain to me how "she's an ONI."

I've never heard of a human being an "Office of Naval intelligence," but hey what do I know.

And I too agree that it looks odd. Personally, I think that she should have a normal helmet based on what I know, which leads me to believe that Bungie has a greater purpose for it.

Sounds like a bunch of Justin Bieber wannabes in here. I bet you all wear skinny jeans too.

My motor cross helmet makes my head look huge.
That's just typically how it is with full head helmets.

every fifth mark slants diagonal to symbolize your downfall...-AR

Dare I say that it doesn't matter what helmet she is wearing?
