about your thread. Bungie stated, definitively during E3 on numerous occasions, that Halo: ODST is an open world, non-linear, game experience.
I suppose what we're discussing can be described as shades of gray. However, Bungie talked about how the AI will suggest point(s) of interest which it thinks you 'might' find useful... Doesn't sound like a, very, linear game experience to me.
