sup

Yes I read the book, and from what I remember Master Chief and his fellow Spartans only had time to invaid one ship in orbit before Reach was lost.

Did the covenant even go on the surface at all? I thought they just glassed it.

If you don't care where you are then you ain't lost.

true but after reach fell they went back and there were suvivoris if you recall. Soo you might play and fill in that time gap.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

Wow, you need to re-read both TFoR and First Strike. Not only was fight on the ground of Reach FAR more extensive than 15 minutes, there was an entire Forerunner artifact plot in FS as well. There is a crapload that can be done with the game.

Recent K/D ratio 2:1

Recent games is either 1st or 2nd place mostly.

I mean there was a huge battle for Reach.

Did you read Halo: First Strike. There's A LOT more that happened on Reach after the Pillar of Autumn left.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

This is what i'm hoping for, the ground engagements both before and after The Pillar of Autumn left system. For the un-initiated, there was quite a but that went on down there while MC was stomping around the first Halo.

Another thing I am hoping for is perhaps some earlier engagements as the Spartans progressed through their training leading up to the events of Reach. That would be pretty damn awesome.

I am Death

I have a feeling that we not only play the actual battle on reach we might also play the battle above reach and also after a few other spartans and marines escape and some other gameplay that should give you a good few hours.

See, tha'ts where they can take a creative jump. For an epic battle, they can easily extend it.
That being said, I'm sure there will be a build up.

Im thinking that this story should be about the spartans that lost contact with Red Leader (Fred) during First Strike. They do not get picked up, and it's their survival story.

It's canon AND we don't know the ending.

Nope, doesn't sound right.

This game has to show things that develop the universe into halo1's. Frankly, in fiction, Halo Wars set the universe up. This one has to show how those spartan's die, the pillar of autumn setting up, etc. Then of course it goes to halo 1, 2, and then 3.

Granted, Ir ealize there's a lot of fiction in between, but from what I know Reach is where this happened? (spartans gone, etc.?)

A little mean, but true.

I wouldn't mind just seeing small tips of the hat to the books (if it doesn't follow them). Things like Linda's crazy sniping....and that Banshee stuck on the barbwire that just kept going around in circles.

Make sure you know what you are talking about before you post.

BECAUSE there is no story about the missing spartans, Bungie can make them do ANYTHING, including observing the story of the trilogy being set-up and played out.
