Just To Say Bungie You Lairs LOL. You Say your not Making Anymore Halo Games, all this time you been working on another Halo game. LOL

But If this is a brand new game? is it going to be built from ground up? please lets hope Halo reach is the best looking xbox 360 game, and not recycle Halo 3 engine again.

Bungie didnt say they wouldnt make any more Halo games, they said they wouldn't expand on the Spartan-117 trilogy. Which they aren't

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

The Halo 3 engine is amazing.

But Halo Reach will most likely be built from the ground up.

640p, 30fps, amazingly crappy bloom (Everything shines, even dirt!), and weird color saturation, questionable hit detection.

I really hope they're at least updating the engine. :(

For being Microsoft's knight in shining armor (Bungie and Halo), I would hope something new would be used. The Xbox brand would not have succeeded without Halo, any new "Halo" game should use the best technology possible, otherwise MS and Bungie are just pissing in the face of their fans trying to squeeze whatever they can out of the Halo name. Halo is more than that, hopefully the positive trends continue, or else Halo will become over-saturated.

The circle is now complete.

Halo: Reach will use a new engine, no doubt about it.

As I recall, ODST is classified as a "campaign extension" because it uses the Halo 3 engine., and re-using game engines is unorthodox for Bungie.

I think it's safe to say, Reach will blow away its predecessors.

True. Now that I think about it having the -blam!- beat out of you with a pool ball in a tube sock by your degenerate pimp is the better choice.

All the devs have tested the 360 waters. They know EXACTLY what the hardware can do and I can almost guarantee they are going to push it to its limits to squeeze the necessary performance out of it.
