Just wondering, will we be able to access the VISR NAV Database in Firefight?

?

Doubt we'll be using the database, but the VISR will likely be useful for night maps.

The circle is now complete.

Since Crater is a night map, VISR should be vital.

I don't see any use for the overhead map though, especially since using it in-game would be risky and time consuming.

No you wouldn't cause your VISR NAV Database is only for beacons in the campaign. In firefight it's just endless killing so there's no need. You CAN use VISR mode however.

However, the NAV Database shows, firstly, a overhead map of the...map. Secondly, enemies your teammates see are shown on the map. And lastly, you can set waypoints. So, it can be used to spot enemies and plan ambushes right?

Self-proclaimed genius.

The database isn't in Firefight but the Leaderboard is just like in Halo 3's Multiplayer.

Bungie has already released the control scheme for firefight, and 'BACK', which would normally activate the VISR NAV in single player, accesses the scoring/leaderboard.
