Subject: Fall 2010.... only 1.5 years to make?

Who the hell cares if it's not the last game. The more the better. Halo is fun, I don't see why you don't want more. If you want variety, there are plenty of other devs releasing games just for you. Bungie isn't the only company.

Honestly, I see alot of promise with Bungie in creating an entirely new franchise. They were lucky in that they were able to create such a fascinating and detailed universe with the Halo series. I just want to see what kind of a game that can design that doesnt rely on what they have been doing for the past 8 years.

2010 - 2007 = 3

Where did you learn math?

Show me some sort of factual evidence that Bungie has been working full time on Halo Reach since 2007, then i might reconsider my mathematical skills.

The main reason for why they're releasing the game so soon might be because they aren't adding any new high profile features like they did in halo 3. I'm sure that halo 3 would have been released much soon if they hadn't added the forge and theater mode.

Bungie has been working on three games since their split from Microsoft. Therefore, Halo Reach has been in development since then. Furthermore, they have one title yet to be announced.

Link stating they are working on three titles

I mean, did they start immediately after Halo 3 and their split? No. But they are a company out to make money. Their workers had to have been doing something. I doubt that, when they unveiled the fact that they were working on three titles, that those titles hadnt already been significantly underway.

Check Out my FileShare.
I was once on Bungie Faves. (Feb.7-15)
I'd like to know why I can't see the signatures of others of myself on the forum. I have made favs once, 7777 campaign kills, and I helped bring modders down when they were at their strongest

2007,2008,2009,2010
1 2 3 4 Years

Do the math, when you are counting something like that subtract and then add one. Good SAT tip I learn in SAT class lol

Anyway, I am going with Sept. 21st 2010 because of the trend on releasing it on Tuesdays and crap.

Bungie started work on Halo 2 right after they finished Halo 1. Halo 3 was started just days after Halo 2 was finished, while in production they got a smaller team to work on H3: ODST the team continued (but got smaller) once H3 was finished so more people could work on H:R. Bungie has most likely been working on this for a good 3 years.

I don't think anything else they make will be very good unless it's very similar to Halo. They've already found their strong point.

no way. they should not start anything new the halo series is the best and everybody will want more besides you!

Um, Reach has been in development since Halo 3 went gold.

It's getting its solid 3 years of development.

The way Bungie does their work I'd completely trust them to make a ton of halo games and expect them all to be great.

I also think it would be great if Bungie would try something new for a while, (I'm pretty sure the third game that their working on will not be about Halo.) Remember they didn't start with Halo, they've made other games before.
