Anyone else bummed about Halo 2 and Halo 3 never having any other downloadable content besides maps?

How great would it have been to have a downloadable Spectre? Or a Brute Plasma Rifle? I was extremely disappointed when I found out it wasn't even possible. So plz Bungie make it possible with Halo: Reach!!!

They should have downloadable:
-Maps
-Vehicles
-Weapons
-Armor
-Equipment (if its even in the game)
-Emblems
-Forge Items
and pretty much anything else you can think of.

Anyone else agree?

Well yes it would be great, but it would take alot to implicate and plus they need to consider the multiplayer balence of the map and to even intergrate into the game. Even with Forge, plus the limitations on some maps in Halo 3 like unable to put Carbines on some maps some things would be hard just intergrate into it.

If you ever get the PC version there's tons of mods to download.

they cannot add new items including all of those because they did not program the game to accept "mods" and have them integrated into the previously developed section of the game.

This would be cool.

Don't even try to pronounce my name.

Basically in short they would have to completely rewrite a whole new disc.

Bungie admittedly made a mistake when they coded the game to not allow for new weapons or armor. I am sure that they will not make the same mistake again.
