Seriously it will take a few decades for us to get bored of Halo 3: ODST, so you've got plenty of time.

If it takes a couple extra months to make it the best FPS ever , go ahead, most of use can wait. YAY my post made this a Hot Topic =D

IGNORE THE DAMN GAMERTAG! It's my brother's. Feel free to spam him with messages. >:)

Actually, Halo 2 and 3 had content cut out of them because of time restraints. Now that they're releasing this game very quickly, I'm hoping not a lot of stuff is cut...

I really want Bungie to take as long as possible on Halo: Reach, to make it the ultimate FPS. Halo 3 was an incredible benchmark; it'll be hard to beat for me.

Fall 2010 is a little early I think; bearing in mind all of ODST and all that Modern Warfare 2 that almost all of us will playing.

Well ODST is only being developed by a small group in Bungie. So Halo: Reach will have 3 years of work on it when it's finished. Hopefully that will be enough time.

I completely agree with the OP

Wizzy

Yes Bungie, for the love of god please take your time with this game. Microsoft don't own you anymore. You can take more time to complete the game than you normally could. And besides, your fans are hear ready to support anything (that doesn't alienate us, that is lololol), so please, take your time :)

I tried to smoke some hash, but the corned beef wouldn't light!

Nice to see a lot of people agree. Hopefully Bungie see this thread.

I love Mute!

How much more time do you want. They been working since Halo 3(2007) was done or around there. ODST and Reach was worked at the same time. So i think they're done. Right now Bungie is just laughing and teasing us by not giving nothing so you think there just starting but im sure it's done.

  • 06.08.2009 10:58 AM PDT

Indeed, I'd rather wait the 6 months for the better game.

DO WORK.

if 1+1=2, then are muffins better than pancakes?

Yeah, hopefully they can learn from what was great and bad about halo 3, and take the time to make halo: reach the most epic game of all time.

This thread is an excellent example of the intelligence present on this website. Thank you.

I agree with this guy. Except for the done part. They're probably a lot closer than we think though.

Now that MS doesn't own them, I'm pretty sure they won't rush it.

The Forum Ninjas are asleep.

Well said. I was so excited to see the story in halo 3 but it didn't satisfy me like I had hoped. I could careless about the gameplay or multiplayer. Hell I'll even sacrifice amazing graphics, just please Bungie, make a solid game with a deeper story.

  • 06.08.2009 12:41 PM PDT

Underwater Eagle.

they'd never hear the end of it if they delayed the release even one day.

For a release in 2010 I hope that they were working on it during the last 2 years at least, otherwise: BUNGIE TAKE YOUR TIME.

We'll be pretty much fine with Halo 3 and ODST (and other amazing titles on 360)... ;)

The Forum Ninjas are asleep.

very true bubba tubba.

but likely they wont assign it a release date until theyre actually having the disks and packaging made and then launch when they think there are enough for the first wave of buyers.

(haha... recon guy lol)

I am an Xbox Live Ambassador so feel free to hit me up with any questions via PM :)

Follow me Twitter: @TheBestTheyHad

Because Halo is a Mocrosoft IP they tell Bungie when the can take there time or not, but if they have the option then I agree they should take there time.

  • 06.08.2009 12:54 PM PDT

OW

I do think they have taken a lot of time on it, just because they just announced it doesn't mean they just started on it.
