Subject: Something that Bungie could very easily add to the second disk of ODST

In custom game mod creation I've always really wanted an option to cancel the duel weild ability. I'm sure Bungie could do it and I would really like it. If someone from the community or Bungie could tell me why this is not possible I would very much like to know. It would really please me if Bungie could do this and it would mean a lot to me.

Thank you for your time

You want them to add a what?

Define your wishes more clearly. All I got out of that was that you don't like duel-wielding.

He wants an option in custom game creation to disable duel-wielding, like how you can disable weapon pickups

You can't just add stuff to the disc. Because the things you add to the second ODST disc won't be able to load on the regular Halo 3 disc. So if they were to add an option not to duelwield, the content on the regular Halo 3 disc wouldn't be able to load the gametype.

It seems like my smallest wish is even too much, oh well. At least I can dream...

It's possible for them to do that, but, if they were to do it, then Halo 3 : ODST's multiplayer would no longer be compatible with Halo 3's, since it wouldn't be the same thing anymore. In other words, it technically is possible, but doing it wouldn't be the greatest idea, since it would create 2 completely different and incompatible versions of Halo 3's multiplayer.

Nah bungie could just add a download in the marketplace, and if people down have live then it wont make a diffrence in the first place.

There are a huge number of options Bungie could add pertaining to Forge and Custom Games. I've always wanted a much deeper 'object summary' menu where one could change the ROF, accuracy, clip size, melee damage, etc., of each weapon. Or choose how long power ups last. Or how fast vehicles move. In Customs, I would like to be able to change melee lunge and speed. How about specify exactly which grenades a player spawns with, and how long it takes for them to disappear after being dropped.

But not only would this be a financially unnecessary addition, but it would prevent people from Halo 3 playing with people from ODST, thereby splitting the population.
