Simply because your Stamina "the red tunnel vision when your hit" Isn't part of your HUD, its a visual filter. Just like when the Gravemind talks to you in Halo 3, even when you have the blind skull on you can still see the green tint.

I can also base this on when you get hit in the head in halo 3, there is a short flash of blue in your vision. You can see this with the Blind skull on as well.

So hopefully you will be able to tell your stamina at least while beating ODST on Mythic

That's assuming that the stamina channel is done in the same way as the Gravemind/Cortana channels, which I do not believe they will be.

True, I agree it will happen during game play, but again they're will have to be some way to tell if your health is low with blind on. In halo 3 you can check if your one shot by picking up a support weapon and seeing your shields flicker. You can't do that in ODST because you don't have shields. If you can't check stamina...then mythic will be the most diabolical thing bungie has ever done.
