Subject: Are you buying the Collectors Edition?

THIS is the way the world ends...

You should of made up your own instrument. You could have named it the PolarLighting -a-phone. People would buy it and they would all be like "Awh, He's so cool for inventing the PolarLighting-a-phone."

I really have an issue with the way ODST is going to be shipped. Don't get me wrong, I purchased the Halo 2 LE when it was released, and went as far as purchasing the $130.00 Halo 3 LE, but I cannot justify paying $100.00 dollars for what is, essentially, an expansion pack with a controller. I can't even justify the $60.00 for the standard edition. Yes, we'll be getting a lot of content, but the majority of us already have Halo 3, and have already purchased both the Legendary and Mythic map packs. Why in the world should I have to purchase them all over again when all I really want is the ODST disc? I'm really hoping they release ODST as a cheaper, stand-along disc for those of us who just want the new content.

Check Out my FileShare.
I was once on Bungie Faves. (Feb.7-15)
I'd like to know why I can't see the signatures of others of myself on the forum. I have made favs once, 7777 campaign kills, and I helped bring modders down when they were at their strongest

Um, I bought the Halo 3 Xbox 360 and the controller that this comes with would match it nicely. Alas, I don't know what I want to do. I preordered the game at the mall thats close by my house. There is another gamestop even closer to my house and it has been known to open at midnight for releases. Then there is a gamecrazy like 5 blocks away from my house that is open at midnight.

Ughh I want to play this game asap!!!

***I know I could buy it off amazon and get it a day before the release date but they have been known to screw up the bonus tokens.

Nicer looking controller for less money, why not unless you already have 4 controllers, which I dont :)

I actually need a brand new controller (I've been using the one i got with the xbox360 for like 2-3 years now...Amazingly it didn't break)

Thomas

yes. everryone thinks its a waste of money but it's not because £50 (because it has 2 discs)
and a £40 limited edition controller adds up to £90 but it's £80 so your saving £10 and if you sell your secondary controller for £10 so it actually works out £20 cheaper.
