Well, every time I activate my flashlight on any map/level in Halo 1 (by pressing my suitable key to activate), the screen resolution starts to crack/glitch when it turns-on.

I don't know if this happens just for me, but the whole screen has various colours racing through each other, and the whole screen resolution starts to glitch-up and crack. Hopefully this can be fixed if it's a problem for the whole community.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Sounds like a video card issue. Try updating the drivers for your video card. Is this a laptop by the way?

Re-installing won't help nusubito. That's for other issues/errors.

That's probably why. Also, I have an HP w1907 Desktop with a Compaq Presario PC.

Something smells fishy...

Maybe you're missing some important installation files. Or some could be corrupt.

Also did you install the game in the default location?

I've never had this problem. Did you try restarting or reinstalling the game?

I installed the game in the correct location so nothing should be wrong. It probably wouldn't be corrupt files either.

I'm not entirely sure on how to check your video card for your monitor. How do you?

Long live the MAW.

Click:
Start
Run
type in "Dxdiag" without the quotations
Diagnostic will pop up, and click on the 'Display' tab.
Copy and paste the name here.
