The link below tells of a new Halo comic that revolves around a small spartan black ops team that works for ONI. Their mission happens the same time around the battle of Reach but a few months earlier. Maybe this is possibly what Halo: Reach is about? I for one don't think so due ot the following reasons but hey it may be possible or have a connection with the 5 spartans(or the 4 spartans and marine, which is what I believe it is).

Spartan Black

Why Not
-------------
-The comic only shows 4 spartans when there might possibly be 5 including the one on the right

-We would know everything about game due to the comic coming out this winter(though like i said maybe these are the same spartans above though and we follow some secret ONI mission?) . It does explain their armor that definately doesn't look like Mark V or not quite like the Mark IV either.

-The spartans already have Mark VI suits in the comic when it is before Reach. This may be due to just an unofficial cover art. Also with ONI these spartans would have acces to the most technologically advanced equipment.
---------------------------------------------------
What do you guys think? I know it is extremely unlikely but hey these are 4 spartans that we don't know about yet and the comic may tell us more about them.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

I truly hope said cover art is unofficial. Technically, all Spartans work for ONI anyway, was they are part of Section Three. Throwing Mk. VI onto them would be way out of tune with the canon we've been given so far. If it's canonical, and that makes it into the comic, I'll be disappointed.

Firstly, what's this 'new enemy' on the moon that forces spartans and elites to join sides? Surely it isn't the flood, as it's said to be located solely on the moon of the planet...flood are currently contained in the Halos.

Also, I highly doubt Bungie would publish Reach's storyline in a soon-to-be-released comic...
BUT, it could give clues to Reach.
Such as how if Spartans and Elites are forced to join forces to tackle this 'new enemy', then perhaps the tall bulky figure in the Reach poster really is an Elite than joins the group of spartans? Perhaps not.

But it definitely does open the possibility of facing a whole new type of enemy that leaves both Spartans and Elites helpless.
