So correct me if I'm wrong, but here's how the campaign goes. After your team makes the jump to the city, you, the Rookie, get knocked out for 6 hours. Meanwhile, at least some of the others in your team survived, and went out do there mission. After the Rookie wakes up, he goes looking for his team. The superintendent begins showing him locations, that were significant in his team's fighting, and the Rookie follows the bread crumbs. Along the way, he finds the objects, and initiates the flashbacks of the fighting his team did while he was out. Meanwhile, the fighting has calmed down in the night, and the Rookie needs to find his team.

I'm pretty sure that's how it will go. And to throw in my two cents, I'm going make a guess for the campaign ending. The squad (sans Rookie) makes it whatever Dare's looking for, but the Covenant follows them and fights for whatever the important thing is. Most of the squad gets incapacitated or dies, when the Rookie shows up. Dare is badly wounded and tells him about the secret mission, and the Rookie rushes off to go fight the endfight.

That's just what I think. How about you guys, how do you think the campaign is going to play out? (Note, my first paragraph is what I believe to be true about the campaign, the second part is my own speculation about the rest.)

I think he's too much of a loveable character. He's the underdog, up against an entire family, looking for his squad. I would be pretty sad if he died.
