Just an Average Joe...

I really hope, that this time round Bungie finally incorporates the Engineers into gameplay.

I've always been highly intrigued by the species themselves, and how they are essentially a neutral class, more so just interested in fiddling with things, rather than being interested on which side to take. Maybe even a few areas in the game where Engineers repair your suit for you?

Thoughts?

What?

It's definitely possible, especially if they stick to the book and Fred and Kelly jack a wraith from a motorcade. Certainly many engineers would be there.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

In total agreement.

Here we are again bro... Just you and me. Same kind of moon same kind of jungle. Real number 10 remember... Whole platoon, 32 men chopped into meat... We walk out just you and me, nobody else. Right on top huh? Not a scratch... Not a f**kin' scratch. You know who ever got you. They'll come back again. And when he does I'm gonna cut your name right into him... I'M GONNA CUT YOUR NAME RIGHT INTO HIM!

I'd like to see them even if they were just there to heal the covenant enemy. Something else to shoot = more fun?

They don't care whose side you're on, they just like fixing things and taking things apart.

In the books, I believe it was John, I can't recall... His suit becomes damaged, and an engineer latches on and attempts to fix it. They aren't interested in taking sides, simply toying with machines, taking them apart, putting them back together, etc...

Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.

The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

Those Forerunner created bastards? No, couldent care less.
Seriously, if Bungie finds a way to intigrate them into the gameplay then I cant see why not.

You are partially correct.
John's shields wouldn't recharge, so an engineer popped the backing of the armor off and started to fix it. It eventually fixed it, suprising everyone.
Unfortunately, one of the marines had to terminate the engineer in case it relayed the Spartan's shielding system back to the Covenant somehow.
