Subject: Halo 3 ODST Vehicle Question

I'v been searching a lot of things on Halo 3 ODST and the biggest thing that i think about is the vehicles. I started to think which vehicles would be involved in multiplayer and other game modes. All im asking is if anyone out there knows what they are and if they're drivable or anything like that.

I checked some place i dont know if this is true or not but it said the pelican/phantom were both drivable, if they are both drivable then that would be quite fun. But if anyone knows if this is true or knows anything please say.

No, your an ODST, Spartans know how drive every vehicle.
You probably just drive a Warthogs, Mongooses, Scorpions, Ghosts, and Choppers.

Negative on the Pelican/Phantom thing. It's using the same engine as Halo 3, and those vehicles were not driveable in either. So I'm 99.999999999999(infinitely repeating)% certain they will not be.

I'm pretty sure we can expect to see some of the normal Halo 3 vehicles return, New Mombassa is big after all.

The Marines in H2 and H3 have been know to jump into anything available. I'm sure that the same will hold true for ODST if vehicles are a major factor in the game play.

I suspect that they won't be. Why you ask? All of the videos I've seen thus far show street and urban combat in closed spaces. Also rolling down the dark quite street in a scorpion kind of ruins the whole "stealth" theme of the game.

Heavier vehicles could appear in the flashback missions, though.

True.

In any case how would health work? With out a recharging shield, and apparently needing to collect health, would the vehicles have a fixed health like in Halo CE?
