I wonder, could this be a Multiplayer based title?

They have been watching us during Halo 3 Multiplayer... matchmaking... customs... forge... I know they have been taking notes. They've also been watching you lowly cheaters out there too, but unfortunately, where there is a will there is a way. No title will ever be sore-loser proof. Anyway, they know we've only demanded multiplayer aspects from them in forums. Very few of us have complained about campaign or even brought anything to the table other than theories about the ending and that we need to shoot Elites instead of Brutes... because it's just more traditional. I understand why they picked Reach, it was a very epic setting on a world that eventually was glassed. Many major battles were fought there. It was here that the majority of Spartan II's met their end. What if Halo: ODST serves as a morsel to whet our co-op Multiplayer appetite, while Halo: Reach is the meat and potatoes of the new and improved Multiplayer experience they have cooked up for us? Squad-based multiplayer, co-op multiplayer missions similar to Firefight in ODST (where the enemy isn't AI, it's human) It could be lots of things. It's just speculation from my end. How about you all? What's your take on this?

I miss playing Halo with my friends.

It didn't take the whole team to make ODST. They've probably been working on Reach since the release of Halo 3.

Who said they have a stable build of reach?

And why would they bother calling it Halo:Reach, with Reach being a MAJOR piece on the story arch, if its MP only?

FAIL.

Just a theory bro. Reach would naturally be a multiplayer playground afterall. What if it was meant to have online only missions? You know, work together with a large number of team-mates to achieve objectives? Eh, maybe I'm just spit-balling here.

As for the stable build inquiry, upon review of the trailer, it does state the Beta being open in 2010. Will it be New Year's Day, or mid-year as suggested below is anyone's guess.

No, a beta key comes with it in September, the beta will be closer to Mid-2010

How are we closed minded if you are to ignorant to get the correct information?

Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

CRY MOAR!

So, they are going to give you the key... and make you wait a year. Wow, that's awful.

You're right, I missed the part at the end of the trailer. Beta in 2010. Long-time to wait with a key.

That's 9 e's.

OP, don't get so mad when people disagree with you. I see where you are coming from, it's possible that Reach could be mostly multiplayer, just not probable. Reach will most likely follow the formula that has worked for past Halo games: a solid campaign story, and then a completely separate multiplayer. Your speculation is interesting though.

I would like to shake your hand dude. Thanks for actually being open to the concept. Yes, I am wrong on certain aspects. However, upon review I was man enough to admit it. I'll even change it on the original post. As for letting it get under my skin, I need to work on it.
