Think you can take me in NHL12? Send me a message/invite

Because if we keep talking about it, Bungie won't make it real! Then we won't get mister chief back anymore :(

Seriously though, I also do believe that their original was to make MC go back in time and save Reach, but if everyone continues to talk about it, they won't make it happen.

You know Bungie... If it's not a complete 100% "OMFGWTFBBQHZ0R1337NAABBRPWN" shocker, they won't do it.

Or... maybe they still will..

Or... maybe they did it to make us THINK that MC traveled back in time, so when we get the game and play it it's something totally different. Hmm.. I think it's actually this.

You do realize just how difficult it is to create a fulfilling story that a game can be birthed from, right? You do understand that it's not simple at all to design levels and the situations within them, right?

If the fans guess what happens, then good for them. They're not going to scrap an entire game and try to push something together in less than a year just because a handful of people figured out the story without realizing it. That's just plain stupid.

Edit - not to mention, if we're supposed to keep quiet so that Bungie does stick to their time-travelling story, then doesn't that completely negate the point you're trying to make as well?

P.S. someone called them out on the civil war before Halo 2 came out.

May I ask, why does this have to be a sequel to Halo 3? Why does it have to be about time travel? Why can't be a completely new game with no connection to the Halo 3 legendary ending?

Oh and BTW, Chief will probably be in this game.

All they have is a cute little trailer. I doubt any serious gameplay. This doesn't come out for like a year and a half, so they can easily tweak it now.

EDIT:

Guy above me

That's what people are speculating. And it's a pretty damn good one too.

No, all they've shown is a 'cute little trailer' - how do you think game design works, they think of an idea, build a trailer, release it, then get started on the game? They've been working on it since Halo 3 was finished, and have possible been concepting it long before release. It's mid-2009, Halo 3 came out two years ago, Bungie has not been sitting on their asses for the past two years merely tweaking the matchmaking playlists for Halo 3.
