"That's quite a feat for such a small boy."
"I'm young not small."

There is debate as to who the sillhouettes in the image released to us, and that one looks like an elite. Well, one way we could explain this... The Arbiter was the "admiral" of the fleet that chased Master Chief to the first Halo. Could it be that they are showing his perspective on the covonant decimation of human colonies?

Not that this is a prefferable solution, as we all know the destruction that ensued after the introduction of the arbiter in halo 2, but could this be?

If you sometimes feel depressed, unused, or forgotten ALWAYS remember that YOU were the fastest and the strongest sperm out of millions.

this is good idea but the only thing i see wrong is that the armour looks to much like SPARTAN armour and not the sleek armour of a Elite Fleet Commander

he didnt become the arbiter until after halos destruction. and it is not him in the silhouette look at his armor it matches the rest.

yeah, its just the neck area looks a little swollen, and the angle on the helmet. As well as the right foot looks strange.

I tend to like this guys theory

that guys theory is good but the tall spartan isnt sam.(sam dies before the battle of reach) so the only possible spartan it could be is will.

Proud frenchie, elite fan, anthro artist not hellbent on yiff convention/pics/whatever, mature and intelligent forum guy, 4chaner, halo 2 lover and halo 3 hater.

1 - his anatomy is human. human legs, elites have reversed legs.
2 - why is he presented a s a hero? why is he standing next to his enemies?
3- why is he carrying a heavy HUMAN machinegun?
4- there was no arbiter during HCE or H1.

  • 06.07.2009 9:59 AM PDT

yeah the arbiter would just be commandin ships and such, maybe hes in a cutscene or two, id like to see that badass armor being badass...

  • 06.07.2009 10:00 AM PDT

Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

All 5 of them are spartans.

No elites in the pic. srry.

His rank was "Supreme Commander" actually, but yes, his role was comparable to that of an admiral.

There are no Elites among the silhouetted figures, however. Those are all humans, and they're probably all Spartans.

I respect your opinion, I'm probably just going to disagree with it.

Maybe the only the large figure on the left is a Spartan - perhaps the rest are marines. That would explain the massive size difference, at least.

EDIT

Hey, hang on a minute! The silhouette on the left isn't actually that different in size to the others. Look at the knees and you will notice they are slightly higher up than the others, maybe he/she is on higher ground - or maybe just further forward than the others.

What are you waiting for!? =D

The one on the left looks like SPARTAN I Armor to me... this armor was just a bulky exoskeleton used on colonies for building and such. Halopedia is a good source to clear up any thoughts.

I agree entirely. The one of the far right is the only non spartan in the bunch. Spartans don't wear backpacks!

Snakie Purple.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Twatter

It's a SPARTAN-II. I have a zoomed in version of it as my background. the man on the far right is wearing MJOLNIR armor.

Though, The Arbiter could very well be the antagonist of this game, since he was leading the forces that attacked reach.

they are all spartans. the far left is will, the second to left is kelly, the middle is the cheif the second to right is fred carrying his combat knife, and the farthest to the right is linda the sniper. (and yes there is a chance THEL will be in the game but he will not be called the arbitar or even have that armor. he will be called either ship master or Thel and he will wear his gold armor as seen in halo 2 in the first cut scene .

  • 06.07.2009 4:35 PM PDT

No matter what the far left thing is, its the same as the center guy, as their knee/leg armor has the exact same design.

  • 06.07.2009 4:38 PM PDT

There will be now arbitor in this game to play as. During Reach book, the elites were attack us. So no elite to play as us, maybe you can play against humans on the elite side, but the charcter in question is not elite. people need to read the book before the talk about reach. That will give you all the information on what you need to know.
