What exactly does the limited edition Halo 3: ODST come with? I know it has two discs, where the first disc has all the halo 3: ODST stuff on it, such as the campaign and firefight. Is that all thats on disc one?

And disc two has all of the halo 3 muliplayer maps plus the other 3 mythic maps. So Does that mean if i only play halo 3 online, i can trade in my halo 3 disc, because all i need to play online will be on disc two of ODST?

Thanks for any help!

Does anyone even read these?

A special edition one of a kind controller I do believe.

the standard edition fo halo 3 ODST comes with two discs. The first disc contains ODST's campaign and the firefight mode, and the second disc contains halo 3's multiplayer along with all the new maps.
The collecters edition is exactly the same as the aforementioned standard edition, but also with a limeted UNSC styled xbox controller.
So you could get either the standard or collecters edition and trade in your halo 3 because you only play multiplayer on it (shame)

Yes, the only difference between the normal and limited editions is the exclusive controller. Both versions come with the two disks.

About being able to get rid of your H3 disk... well, I think Bungie's said that it will function on it's own, separate from the normal H3 game (but it will still read as H3 on your Xbox, at least I think it will, so you'll keep your achievements and armor and such). So if you aren't into campaign, you could ditch your original copy.

Haha, no not shame. I have finished the campaign numerous times. And although it doesnt say so on my bungie.net, it was before i got xbox live. But i still love to play campaign occasionally. :D

But on another note, All my content on my halo 3 disc, there is no way that it can be transfered onto disc two of ODST right? Like all my custom maps etc, and armour perms? I am a bit confused about that

EDIT: Just read Bundalings post. Thanks alot, i hope you are right. I might just keep my halo 3 disc tucked away somewhere though, incase i feel the need to play halo 3 campaign again. Specially because it is the steel case version, very nice.

I was kinda hoping the ltd edition would have a metal case, or artwork, or something else that makes it look different from the standard. Instead we get the game and controller in what looks like a cheap plastic case.

Halo 3 ODST contains a multiplayer disc and a co-op/campaign disc. The collectors edition also contains a controller and at some shops a card to play as SGT Johnson

The collectors edition doesn't have Johnson included, you get Johnson if you pre order.
