Well I guess I better put some pants on.

I feel like I'm gonna break this thing!

Will we ever be restricted in the city as to where we can go by invisible walls or piles of rubble where you can go at other stages in the game?

I'm curious about this because, as we know there are banshees, and we can jack vehicles, so what's to stop us boarding a banshee and skipping past areas of the game?

For those who are saying we can't jack vehicles, we can, just not in firefight.

I'm pretty sure you can't jack vehicles in ODST.

I dont think there will be any invisible boundaries. But there will be walls...so many walls...

From what we have been told the game is open world. That means you can go anywhere on the map at any time. They have already stated that after doing the first flashback mission that you can choose which you want to do next so I would guess that no areas will be blocked off.

So you're thinking that there will be an invisible ceiling preventing us flying over the walls?
Also, I'm not thinking of flying outside the city, but inside the city skipping out sections of the city.

I noticed in one of the "presentations" of H3: ODST, when you bring up the map of the city I noticed several "locked doors" in it, restricting you from going into the other parts of the city, which I guess is your answer.

I think you can jack vehicles, because we saw a Banshee flying in the Gameplay Trailer.

The AR is an awesome weapon, RESPECT IT AS SUCH!!!

...if anything, we cant jack vehicles in campaign, but we can in firefight....not the other way around. firefight is meant to be the more unrealistic aspect of the game while in campaign you are more restricted.

i dunno about jacking. i have seen a couple of screenshot.

1. where the rookie is flying a banshee

2. the rooking is ontop of a wraith, and its says "press RT to plant granade"

so im assuming you can. and the invisable wall stuff, course there will. everygame has an invisable wall. the game is suppose to be free roaming, but then again so is Fall Out 3, but that has walls also.

so my guess is, there will either be invisble walls blocking you off, or bulings and ruble.

I bet they would use a big city door to block off parts of the game they don't want you to see.

But there's also parts like the bridge and the ONI building, where they use water, which could probably be tagged as an invisible wall.
