More importantly, why can't they release games during the summer instead of during the school year?
Yes, lets take all the games that are planned to be released throughout the year and release all of them during the summer season so we can have the most amount of time to play them.
Uh...no.
First of all, the biggest game age demographic last I checked was the 18-25 age bracket, which I happen to fall into. This means we are in college, therefore we have more free time so it won't matter when it is released. Also, during the summer we will either have jobs or summer classes. People higher than this age group will have full time jobs, so they will be working no matter what. The only age group below mine that plays games like halo is 12-17. Thats 5 years against 50 years of ages that don't care if its released in summer or not.
