So I have a friend who never thinks he's wrong. In fact, he gets really mad when he's proved wrong and he's not that smart.

But I and a lot of other people think that there may be time travel in Halo Reach from Halo 3 involving Master Chief.

Well my annoyingly narcicistic friend insists that Bungie said there will never be time travel in the Halo series because it is lame and over used in science fiction.

Now, Bungie, I'm not asking you to give any details about Halo Reach because I know you won't. But can you at least say if someone said that time travel won't be used in any Halo game?

Well I'm not asking them to tell me about the game, just about the quote. It doesn't have to suggest that it's in the game or not. Just the fact that they have or haven't said it's not ever going to be involved in Halo.

No. Bungie are intelligent, and if they ever did use time travel as a plot element, it would either involve the Chief going millenia into the future, or millenia into the past. This would allow them to introduce a new setting, new experience, new situation, and new enemies. They wouldn't just dump the Master Chief a few years back so that the stupid kids with no sense of plot can see their favourite character continue to kill Covenant in the same old setting he's already killed Covenant in already. This doesn't mean he won't appear in Halo Reach though, because he was at that very battle.

I agree with you in every point. However his involvement in the Battle of Reach was very minimal, he spent the entire time in Space, and only landed on Reach during the raid of Reach a few days later.
