Subject: Theory: Captain Cutter in Reach? New find!

I was looking at my Halo Wars CE box and i just noticed these Playing Cards/People Cards that show descriptions of the 6 people you can play as in Halo Wars. These cards have their Age, Height, Birthplace, and Halo Wars information( stuff about what the person can do in Halo Wars)

As i was looking at them i seen Captain Cutter's Card. I read everything on the card and i found out that Captain Cutter was born in Reach. So maybe we might see Captain Cutter as a UNSC soilder fighting because Halo: Reach is supposed to be take place before Halo CE.. So maybe he might be there.

Tell me what you think about my theory.
**I would post pictures but i cant get them on so if anyone can help me then send me a private message so the Thread doesnt get spammed**
Thanks

I hope nothing to do halo wars is involved with a new 'pure' halo game

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

Captain Cutter never made it back to Reach.

Whats up with Spartans calling Elites Dinosaurs? I mean Spartans are the ones almost extinct! XD

That would be interesting but hes probably older than any of the Spartans IIs and had left to do his military service somewhere else during the time. I didnt play Halo Wars nor do I know the story about him so dont take my word for it.

Halo: Reach takes place after Halo Wars, and a couple hours right before Halo: Combat Evolved.

Captain Cutter died in Halo: combat evolved the only way for him to come back is if they make it before halo 1
EDIT:
My bad I posted that right as you posted before Halo 1 so yeah he definitely COULD be in

because Halo: Reach is supposed to be during/between Halo 2 and Halo 3. So maybe he might be there.

Halo reach takes place before Halo combat evolved.... By the time halo 2 ended, reach was nothing but a pile of gas.

Spirits of Fire Leader

Halo: Reach takes place before Halo: CE.

WHY IS EVERYONE SO CLUELESS ON THESE FORUMS!
Your thinking of Captian Keyes, he's talking about Captain Cuter. Captain Keyes wasn't born on Reach (I forgot where, but I know it wasn't Reach.)
Captain Cutter is lost on the Spirit of Fire during the events of Halo: Reach. It took place about 40 years before Halo: Reach's events (The Fall of Reach goes down only about a day before Halo: Combat Evolved starts)

  • 06.07.2009 12:52 PM PDT

This is what i think though. He could still be there because it happens before Halo CE.

Actually a few weeks. The slipspace jump takes a while. Thus why chief is in the cryo tube.

No he can't.

If your talking about Captian Keyes, then he couldn't be. He was on the Pillar of Autumn the entire time The Battle of Reach was going on.

If your talking about Captian Cutter, it still can't be him. Captian Cutter either died abord the Spirit of Fire, or is floating in space somewhere in an unknown location. Either way, he can't be in Reach.

Well, I wouldn't say weeks. Maybe a few days. But you still understand my point. OP has his time line completely messed up.

Halo: Reach happens the same year as Halo: CE. So Halo wars still happens 20 years before that. Sorry to crush your thesis.

FML. My friend lied. I'm not sure if the Spirit of Fire makes it out of there anymore.
But never the less, Captian Cutter wouldn't be in service on the ground during Halo: Reach. If you ever become a pilot aboard a ship like that, your not going to turn around and do ground work.

... Have you even played Halo Wars?
Ask anyone who played the game through. The Spirit of Fire and it's crew manage to escape, but the Spirit of Fire is unable to move once it's out of orbit. So it's basically floating around in space.

That happens a good 20 years before any of the events in Halo Reach take place.

Thank you, Unforgiven Cow. For setting it straight.

Show me that he didn't. You can say all you want. It is all speculation and hopes. I doubt oyu can survive on a ship for like 15-30 years. Also, didn't Serena say they were light years away from any colonized planet?

Its possible to survive on the ship, its in the year 2500's. ANYTHING could happen because its advanced techonology then our crappy 2000's

Yeah, it is. But I read through "The Fall of Reach" and it doesn't say anything about Captian Cutters in it. I don't see why they'll randomly throw him in even if he was still alive.

  • 06.07.2009 1:17 PM PDT

But if there was a Battle on your own Home Planet then you would want to fight to keep your troops there.
So maybe Captain Cutter will do that.

  • 06.07.2009 1:19 PM PDT

Underwater Eagle.

cutter was stranded in deep space traveling at sub light speeds for the duration of the war after what happened at the shield world in Halo Wars

I doubt it. If he did survive the Spirit of Fire, then he'll probable be there. But I highly doubt that he'll play a major roll in the game. I highly doubt he'll even be mentioned.

He's about 40 in the time frame of Halo Wars, right? Halo Wars is over 20 years before the event's of Reach. Since the AI can't exactly control the ship completely by it's self, Captian Cutters would have to be awake the entire time. That means to cryo sleep for him, which means he'll be 60 years old during Halo Reach. He'll just be an old man piloting a frigate (Or something else.)
