Subject: Field of view change in ODST?

After watching a bunch of gameplay from Halo 3: ODST, one of the biggest aspects of the game that sticks out is how much more of your character's weapon is showing in first person. This is especially noticeable in one video I saw with the sniper. Does this mean that the field of view in ODST will be larger?

The placement of the weapon is not directly related to the field of view.

i would say it appears as though its larger, much like the split screen is to the single player.

The last time I tried to make a quote, a car smashed through my wall and the tire hit my grandmother in the other room. But for those of you who can haz once more between five, I say it will be five between seven divided by zero multiplied by Chick Norass and Broce Tee.

All I know is that I prefer that visor compared to Halo 3's.

Yeah, your right, it is just like that. I like the way it looks in full screen.

What I noticed is the shading in the lower corners. I'm slightly worried about that. I'll have to watch the video again to check the FOV

Self-proclaimed genius.
Roam the streets with a sign, "will love for false hope."

It's most likely because of widescreen but the weapons could also be a little smaller to match the hands of the ODSTs. Look at how huge the Assault Rifle is when the Chief uses it but notice that it does appear smaller in the hands of a Marine.
