how do people see the title of a forum labeled as "odst" and then decide "Oh, okay, so I should ask questions about halo 3 in there right?"

How to spell "space"?

S-P-ACE! SPACE!

Has it worked before?
BTW, this is spam.
If it's worked before, it's probably something you did.

Take it down to your local video store and ask them to buffer it with their machine. They use it on all scratched rentals. It might cost you 10 bucks or something though.

....

Just take it to your local video store and ask if they can repair it, usually you will have to pay for it but it's cheap and it does work. My 360 scratched my disc twice and I got repaired.

EDIT: I just relised someone posted the same thing above me lol

and how!

<obvious sarcasm>Cover it in Vasoline and rub it down real good with some steel wool.</obvious sarcasm>

You can try using the CD repair chemical they sell in pretty much any store that sells CD's, but you'd have better luck just not being an idiot with your discs in the first place.

If you Xbox scratched it during normal operation then you should be able to get a replacement from 1-800-4MYXBOX

Your local game store can fix it up with a scratch remover which costs a couple of dollars or you could install Halo 3 to your hard drive and play it off that.

Nope, games that are downloaded to your hard drive just speed up loading time. Unfortunately, It has been confirmed that downloading Halo 3 makes loading time even longer, so don't try it.
