Who the funk do you think you are??? Bob frikken Barker!!!! The price is most definately WRONG. I already gave bungie $30 for all of the map packs. Now I'm being charged again through an "expansion" which I can't play unless I kick in money to pay for maps I already own!?!?! No Bob, the price ain't frikkin right.......I got 2 words for all you kids made out of money who are willing to shell out 60 bucks for a 4 hour campaign with Halo's version of Horde mode with Republic Commando Visor HUD.....Hidden Fronts

How do you know I'm not Bob freakin' Barker?

And I'm not a, "kid made out of money," I work for a living, and I actually do decide whether or not a game is worth it before buying it. Halo 3: ODST may not be ideal for people like us that have already paid for everything, but it's not a bad price.

And if it still seems like too much, there are about 105 days left until the release (counting from tomorrow until September 21st) and if you can manage to put aside about $0.60 a day, you'll have $60 plus a little bit of tax by the time it's out. That means if you just hold on to all of your change throughout the day, you can probably afford it.

Not a tree

It looks like it is going to be a very good campaign and so I'm pre-ordering it in September.

Firefight alone is worth at least $30 in my opinion. Tack on a brand new full-fledged campaign, 3 new Mythic maps (including Midship), AND the Halo: Reach Beta?? $60 may be a little cheap in all honesty. Halo: ODST has the potential to offer MORE gaming time than Halo 3 does

Will everyone just shut up about it. We're all going to buy it anyways so there is no use arguing about it.

I'm aware, but it's easier to say than a year and 7 months, or a year and a half. Most people understood what I meant, and aren't so much of an internet police force to question a small detail about the post.

This is exactly the kind of herd mentality that allows this sort of thing to happen. Don't complain when companies rip you off and you'll just keep seeing more of it. MS is already doing it with Halo and Gears of War (not to mention everywhere else), so what will fall victim to their corporate greed next?
