Have you not realized yet that Johnson is God, and that he is obviously in two places at once?

Here, let me copy and paste something from the thread just replied to:

If your going to complain about realism in firefight you minus well complain that you have more than one life because that too is impossible...

Firefight is completely unrelated to the campaign of any Halo game.

Oh, and: Why the hell does it even matter?

Oh, and: Why the hell does it even matter?

Because Johnson is indestructible, and he is always there.

It's very wierd seeing Johnson in ODST when he is at Delta Halo lol.

Not really, that's like saying "Oh there shouldn't be Spartans in Halo 3 multiplayer because they were all killed at Reach except for the ones on Onyx."

Multiplayer. Is. Not. Canon.

It matters...?

For the story to be somewhat accurate then yes...

Too bad Firefight doesn't follow the story. And if you're gonna whine about that, then I guess Multiplayer should follow the story as well

  • 06.07.2009 11:12 PM PDT

Man cave.

Firefight is just a fun mode. It doesn't have to follow cannon.

Spirits of Fire Leader

So by this logic, you're basically saying Halo 3 multiplayer doesn't make sense because no where in the story line is there 16 spartans and elites split into red and blue teams and fighting each other. It's separate from the story.

  • 06.07.2009 11:21 PM PDT

I wish I was still legendary.

Multiplayer in the Halo series is NEVER canonical.

I am flatterd that you botherd to look at my signature.

this is an awesome chance to tell secerets about jhonson(did i spell that right?)

ZOMFG A GURLZ! Jk lol

And Firefight is just a multiplayer mode, and therefore doesnt have to follow canon. Pretty sure tonnoes of multi-coloured Spartans never ran around a desert or scarab factory, fighting over flags and human remains. See what I'm gettin at here? Johnson's only it it because hes an iconic character in the Halo universe, and Firefight doesn't need a backstory.

  • 06.07.2009 11:41 PM PDT

why are you looking at this?

firefight is a multiplayer mode, not directly related to campaign....

I think he might be relating this to firefight, but I'm not too sure if that's it.
Girl is in her B.net name.

Then again, i wouldn't trust that...

On topic. Firefight does not fit anywhere into the campaign story line. It is not made to make sense. It is almost like saying "Why is there more than one spartan in matchmaking?" If you know what i mean. Firefight is just a game.

I'm wondering how many different ways this question can be answered the same way

Sergeant Johnson and Miranda Keyes returned to Earth before John-117. During that time, Johnson could've had a mission that ties in directly with the ODST's mission. God I love plot twists!

  • 06.08.2009 12:46 AM PDT

Four shots, four kills, reload, repeat. This is the work of a sniper.

Firefight isn't canon.

ok for s start, fire fight has nothing to do with the story mode. infact, you can say its kinda of like zombie mode on CoD World at War. so if it something doesnt follow a story line, anything can happen. its only abit of fun. ^^

heres a question, how are there millions of spartans fighting online?
I thought there were only 150 or so spartans? And why are they fighting each other?

thats actually not true, but that wasn't the point of my question...

  • 06.08.2009 1:05 AM PDT

Well... where do all these Spartans come from that keep coming back to life reanimated?

MatchMaking and Firefight aren't part of the linear story. They're bonuses. Additions.
