Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're a twat.

mm not really, call of duty it shows diffrent groups of people fighting for the same goal, thats how the story is told.
in ODST the story is told in flash backs so you as the player put the story together.

You think the Call of Duty franchise was the first to do that?

Seriously, just because ODST is implementing features/charachteristics from other modern, mainstream games doesn't mean it's 'stealing' or 'copying' them. It's just a feature that the two games share.

Those other games 'stole' it from older games, if you want to go there.

Though as mentioned it's not necessarily copying Call of Duty or other popular FPS franchises, I can see what you're getting at. ODST represents a somewhat more "down to earth" step for the Halo name; for the first time you play as an average footsoldier. Granted a special forces soldier, but still radically different than the literal super-man of the first 3 games. It's a change I personally find refreshing, and Im glad to see from gameplay that though the "super pwnage" of MC is gone, ODST is still distinctly Halo at its core, panicking Grunts and all.
