Hi,
When i want to host my own game i have two problems.

1. I go to edit gametypes, and create my own gametype, then, i save it, then go to make, internet, but i cannot ever ever find my custom game. Problem #1.

2. If i was to host a normal game, just a team slayer, that i havent changed, it's fine i can do that, but no one can join. They get errors. Problem #2.

Maybe these problems are llinked together, or maybe not, but it affects my clan, as i have to ask another member to host all the games for me.

Please help me.

Thanks
Toonyan

You must open the ports 2302 and 2303 on your router to allow incoming connections. you also need to configure it in windows on the network connection, and it would be good to turn off window's firewall, as well.

Sexy Legs is right on the ports issue, along with the firewalls.

Also, I know this is obvious, but when you select a gametype, there should be a header up top that says "Standard", "Classic", or "Custom". You have to make sure the "Custom" heading is up. If that's not the problem, I don't know what is.

If you're running a Mac (not windows), look in your documents folder, and open the "Halo" Folder. Check for the gametype in that folder. If it's not there, you may have a problem with your halo App. Reinstall if it's not there, then PM me if it a reinstall doesn't work. But only if you're running a Mac.
