Subject: Even girls can dual wield weapons but ODST's cant?

In this video they tell us ODST's cant dual wield because they are not Spartans and in this video we get to see an ODST rip a turret and carrie it?

So they are not super soldiers like spartans have no shields, cant use equipment, cant dual wield, are slower and cant jump high but why can they rip of a Heavy Machine Gun i thought HMG's are heavy even for a Spartan.

Im not complaining or wining about the game not being realistic, i dont mind if they are slower or cant jump high,i just dident like the idea that we will not get the chance to dual wield the two new weapons shown.
Imagine dual wielding the new piston even if you could not zoom it would be so sick!

Maybe ODST's can rip turrets only in firifight mod i dont know, anyways what are your thoughts should they be able to DW?

PS: Common Bungie make it happen even girls like/can dual wield weapons (commander keyes, lara Croft) at least make Dare DW!

I got his sarcasm...one person has to implement sarcasm and then you get a pile of terrorist chipmunks crashing your party, not fun at all..

And commander keyes dual wields in H2 to shoot the Arbiter.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

and in H3, she dual wields a shotgun and a pistol.

however, if the automag is as good as they say it will be, I'm not sure that dual wielding will be the best piece of game balancing that has ever been undertaken...

Have you ever seen, or heard of, any military operation, where the soldiers were dual wielding?

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?

Keyes has dual-wielded twice in the Halo trilogy, and where did it get her? The first time she got captured, then the second time she got killed. Dual wielding is bad for you, kids.

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

The military doesnt train soldiers to dual wield. In ANY case, wielding even 2 small pistols greatly reduces your ability to shoot accurately. Soldiers are trained to aim down the sights and fire.

Commander Keyes was never really trained in combat, so she would make mistakes like this. (When you say "Dual Wielded in Halo 3" Note she fired NEITHER WEAPON while she did it.)

If a ODST can carry a turret a spartan should lift it with one finger

Oh, and the turret thing, LMG gunners exist you know. (Guys who carry around large machine guns, often used for turrets).

You mean like this guy? even with smaller guns like this its hard to hande they are too powerfull and a 50 cal Heavy Machine Gun for a humman like the M2 is imposible to carie and shoot, wich is the same as the Halo 3 Heavy Machine Gun - AIE-486H.

I remember hearing somewhere or reading in the instructions that the Moljinr armor could track two weapons at once and that's the explanation behind master chief dual wielding.

LMG stands for light machine gun

I'd have a seizure too if some genetically enhanced freak starting shooting me in the head.

This is why we can't dual wield.

In Firefight most of the ODST rules don't apply.

Which isn't a .50 cal, more of a .30 cal.

i remember reading that, maybe in the manual for halo 2? Makes sense either way.

The fact is ODST wouldn't really suit duel wielding - at least, not the night sections. And it would just be odd to add it in for the daytime flashbacks only.

It's the Halo 2 pistol just with a scope, and that dual wielded okay in Halo 2 itself. I cannot see why there isn't going to be any dual wielding in Halo 3 ODST, if I was a Helljumper I wouldn't get a second thought about dual wielding, I'd just do it. They aren't heavy, so why not.

Actually she nearly killed the Arbiter until Tartarus interfered, as for the second time, she couldn't kill Johnson, which is why Truth shot her, after all he only needed one human, and she was the main trouble maker, so he'd be dumb if he didn't take her out.

Why is hammer such an asshole?

How about I hammer your asshole.

physics, yes it is stupid. but gameplay and fairness, no. if the auto mag is as good as everyone says it should be, then it is like holding 2 battle rifles.
