I thought Halo 2 was good because it had so many new things, with really good graphics for a first generation console. I also liked the hidden skulls because they were much harder to get, and there was a lot of mystery surrounding them. Also I thought that Halo 2 had some good online, mostly because I liked the game types and huge maps, plus it had the best online setup of it's time with new maps being released and clan support. I still think however that Halo: CE had the best campaign, and If I had it on PC I would have played it online none stop, and if it had online co-op it would be awesome. As for Halo 3, the online was really the same apart from the new equipment, and the weapons changed the way it the online tactics worked, but it didn' t seem as addictive and fun as Halo 2's online multiplayer. Something just killed it, most probably because they equalized the weapons so much that anyone could kill anyone, there was no separation of the amateur from the proffessional.
