Yeah the title says it all...You focus on your character and then.. bam! you switch to the other guy. i think it destroys all of the concentration and makes no sense.
Well, in ODST they do that but only for a short time. So they could do that a bit in Reach but it's all there so you understand the story...
yeah it helps you to get the story but... you know the story should be linear to get really involved in the game.

I usually enjoy switching perspectives. Its refreshing. I've never been one to become totally immersed in a game so maybe I just don't understand why it throws some people off so much. I like being able to see other parts of a story. To me it makes it feel far more fleshed out and powerful, but that's just me. I will be happy either way, though I think I would prefer having multiple viewpoints.
