people "crumple" like a ragdoll once they die...for example you shoot someone in the head they will fall down as if they are a ragdoll weighted as a human...

I see. Intresting name. Thanks Death Scythe. I appreciate it. I reckon that it is fine, but sometimes I think that say when you get shot in the head by a sniper rifle, it would be better if you landed flat on your back.

usually you would wind up flat on your back, depending on how realistic the physcics engine is(as in does it let you be affected by bullet speed during death). I think it will though. all depends on how thorough bungie wants to be..

Think about what other physics would you test with a non-moving MC?

Halo 1 use death animations,and also the Halo 2 E3' 04-03 demos.
So how can you test physics when it is animtions? You can't so there IS a new physics engine in Halo 2 that was not done when the E3 demos where. So think about testing? Testing? Why test a engine thats already done?.

Plus a sreecnshot shows Ragdoll engine, the P Sowrd kinda showed alittle Ragdoll in the E3 ' 04.

So get use to it!!!

Calm down. I actually like ragdoll. And I think what you said to black magic was fairly funny, in another thread. Anyway, the physics I want to see is teh gravity. as we all well know that halo was low gravity because there was less world mass. But earth's gravity is 0 Gs, so that means that we shouldn't be able to warthog dodge. I guess that's is why they have the new boarding action. Still I'm sure bungie have already thought about that element of physics, what do you think?
