Subject: Delete old maps?

I have a quick question that I can't seem to find, so if it has been answered, please excuse my foolishness.

I know when ODST comes out it comes with another disc that is the Halo 3 multiplayer and all the maps, including the 3 new maps. So i have downloaded all the maps packs available to the community. So when ODST comes out, can I delete all the DLC maps to make space for other things, and then just use the disc that comes with ODST to play multiplayer when I want? And if not, will I have those 3 new maps if I use my original Halo 3 disc? Or will I have to download them(needlessly) from the Marketplace?

I don't think you CAN even delete them.

1.Arkham Asylum, 2.Mass Effect, 3.Halo CE, 4.Mass Effect 2, 5.Halo 2, 6.Splinter Cell Double Agent, 7.Gears of War 2, 8.Medievil, 9.Oblivion, 10.Crash Team Racing

Do we have a new custom content limit?

I am pretty sure you can, by doing some stuff with the hard drive or whatever.

But better safe than sorry. Don't delete them until you get the disc.

You can always redownload any piece of content you have ever bought from the xbox live market place, for free, so there isn't anything that you could actually loose in deleting the old map packs to make some space on your HD.

and how!

It won't do you any harm having them on your HDD, but as I see it, it could be formatted in two ways.

It could be done with the maps to be read directly off the disc like the default Halo 3 maps, or it could be done like the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack disc where you play the disc and then download the maps.

Even if you delete them you officially bought the maps, they can never make you pay for them again, that would be ridiculous.

If you delete them you can reinstall them whenever you want.
