Ok. I have read all the bungie updates for info, but I am still a little confused.

1. There are two discs that come with ODST right? One is for the new ODST stuff, and the other is for ???
2. You can play multiplayer on both discs and with regular Halo3 right? But you can't access Halo 3 features (well at least some, like halo 3 campaign) from ODST or vice versa.
3. Will people that don't buy ODST still be able to get the new maps so they can Multiplayer with everybody who bought ODST?
4.The new weapons, features, and modes are only avialable in ODST, right?
5.So, basically, if I buy ODST , its just the same Halo3 multiplayer without h3 campiagn, but adding a new campagin, some weapons, and modes? As in I can still play the same multiplayer as people with H3?

1. Disc 2 is Halo 3 Multiplayer.
2. Only Disc 2 and Halo 3 can be used for Halo 3 multiplayer. Halo 3's original campaign can only be played with the original Halo 3 disc.
3. Bungie has not said anything about that yet, but it is a possibility.
4. Yes, on Disc 1.
5. Yes.

Thx! that really cleared up everything, except for question 3. I would like to know more about that.

Well, its a possibility because all of the maps are on the marketplace. So chances are they will be on there too but it hasn't been officially announced. Other than that, there is not much more information I can provide.

Maybe they will do what they did with the mythic map pack and put an early access code into the collectors edition of ODST or something. That way, you buy ODST collectors edition you gets map codes early, but if you don't buy ODST colectors edition, then you haz to wait a month or something.

Probably, considering that the same thing was done with Halo Wars. Also, Halo 3: ODST comes with an invitation to the Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta and all of the maps on Halo 3 (the original maps, heroic, legendary, mythic, and the three new mythic maps released with ODST on disc 2. Sorry I forgot to add that).

Wait, so disc two contains all the maps, so basically you have to switch to that discfor multiplayer? So then disc 1 is just the new ODST campaign, the Halo:Reach beta, and firefightmode?

You don't have to if you already have all of the maps and if you don't have all of the maps then you can still play Halo 3 multiplayer, you are just restricted from certain playlists until you get certain maps (basically the way it is now). So you don't have to use ODST disc 2 if you don't want to but it has the three new maps along with the other maps. The only reason you would have to switch from your original Halo 3 disc to ODST disc 2 is if you want to play the three new maps that come with Halo 3: ODST. For your second question, yes that is what is on disc 1.
