no, reach was a main planet in the inner colonies. Naval shipyard. remember reach is just a literal meaning, but also a nod to the reach game.

Reach is the planet that got glassed and happened to have all the remaining spartans on it except the master chief and the ones stuck in onyx. that is all. its like if you wrote a graffiti saying remember 9/11 on a wall.

like a sardine?!?! what, are we trying to put metaphors together from Jeremy Clarkson?

Reach was the Center of UNSC military Activity and the books tell us that when the Covenant attacked it was basically a massacre of UNSC personnel, "Remember Reach" is just a form of boosting morale in a way...similar to The U.S. saying "Remember The Alamo" when they where in war against Mexico, Back in the Old West dayzzz! so in a short answer No it has nothing to do with the Halo Game... common sense will answer the question too...

He's saying we need to build a monument so we will always remember the tragic deaths of so many fictional characters. Screw D-Day and 9/11, Reach was sadderer.

There's a leftover fictional wing infront of a fictional glassed crater as a monument for all those that died in the war...talk about cheap....

My guess is they spent it all on plastic figurines.

No, Reach was a military planet that was glassed by the Covenant before Halo 1's events.

Remember Reach means remember the Planet Reach...it got owned by the Covenant...maybe whoever wrote that thought it was going to happen to Earth too?
