Fight to the Finish!

Is there any possibility of new enemies? I know Brutes are cool and Elites, but are they another enimies that can play a slightly primary role.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

Although we do not know the specifics that will be covered in Reach, it is a good bet that it will at least somewhat follow portions of the Fall of Reach novel. As such it is doubtful that there will be any other race considering that there are no other races to face from the Covenant. The only Covenant race that has not been featured in a game are the Engineers, and they are not combatants, so it would be pointless to have them there.

We are more then our ranks. We breed battle field Generals! We are the New Spartans! HWP......What is your Profession!!!!?

Good question seeing that the cov is made out of so many different species. Don't know but it would be cool to learn more about each one of them. Like the hunters! I would love to meet the Hunter Chief. Maybe he dies on reach and that is one of the reasons the hunters wants Humans dead.

I doubt it. The history of the Covenant is fairly well-established in the novels now. Unless the Engineers become violent, there's no one else to fight. Adding another species to the Covenant at this point would confuse the story.

Expanding on the Hunter history is interesting. I would like to see that. It would be interesting to battle more of them at once.

I'm not too sure how this would work but the thought is interesting. Hunters if anything seem to be short supply compared to the other races in the Covenant. It would be interesting to see exactly how each Hunter is cultivated.

All I can think is that they add new classes and ranks to already existing enemies:

Elite heavy Gunner

Jackal Saboteur

Grunt Sharpshooter

Hunter-Killer

And So Forth...

Braaaaaaains!

Considering that the game takes place before events we already know, there could be a multitude of covenant species that were exterminated in the fight. Meaning, Bungie could create a new member of the Covenant and have them be exterminated before the events that took place in Halo 1.
