I cant wait to play the beta for halo : Reach in fall but what if the same things happens that did in halo 3?

What if they take out numerous things that made the game fun again like the trip mine in the halo 3 beta?

I really hope they think about how the community wants things this time >_<

Ive never met anyone who didnt like the trip mine in the beta.

There is a trip mine in Halo 3. However, I never played the beta, so im assuming there was a "better" trip mine in the beta. As for Halo: Reach, Its more then likley they will take out, improve, and nerf somethings here and there.

I mean, the Halo: Reach beta is probably coming out in the fall and the real game is coming out 2010, so they have a long time to go, there will be some things taken out.

hopefully they will IMPROVE most things this time :P

The beta trip mine stuck onto vehicles and killed a foot soldier in one blast.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

Keep in mind the point of a beta is to identifiy problems with a game beforehand. Some of those problems are apparent through technical data and others are reported by those who participate in the beta. Beta's are not there for the community to get what they want added into the final game, you can leave your input and offer your feedback but personal wants don't often help things. I will certainly acknowledge that the trip mine thing is pretty bad, but for the most part Halo3 MM is fine from a functional standpoint.

Well I guess I better put some pants on.

I feel like I'm gonna break this thing!

The beta is coming out in 2010. This was clearly stated.

I think the majority of changes from the beta to the full game of Halo 3 were for the best.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

I agree that the Halo 3 Beta was a disaster. Bungie ignored all the constructive criticism and instead nerfed the Tripmine.

The device has been modified....

The Trip mine in the Halo 3 beta stuck to vehicles e.g. warthog. It was fun to lay a trap but also an easy way to get multi-kills as demonstrated here. It was fun while it lasted now the trip mine is utterly useless :( but, it is better this way

Yes and the Mine Beeped when you got near it, That was Balanced enough, I love how I could throw it beneath the enemy Warthog, and it would attach to the underbelly of it, the waited for incoming people to get in it giving me either a double kill or triple.

I think Bungie knows what they are doing. The Beta is there to help Bungie understand what they need to: Keep, change, take out and other things to make the game still fun yet balanced. It might seem unfair but, that's the way things work. I never did play the beta so, I really don't know but, just as a point, this is the first time I heard anyone complain about the mine. I had no idea Idea it existed until now, so did it really make that much of an impact (of course that's just me).

I think the Halo 3 Beta was better than the actual game. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

Beta Trip Mine+Betrayal Booting= :-(

Too many idiots would just blindly walk into it and you would get booted for it.

The community will react in the exact same manner as they did with the Halo 3 Beta.

It has nothing to do with the Beta or any changes Bungie makes following the Beta. It has everything to do with the way certain individuals react to change. Some people complain about all change while some people embrace it. That's just a fact of life.
