I don't like the idea, but whatever floats your boat.

NO
for god's sake no.

can you imagine a mp game? you'd have to pretend to run, walk, jump (for real), crouch (for real too) and stuff.
I'm playing halo, no wii sports.

Check out the group, Planet Reach and talk about Bungie's next game without the annoyance of the public forum. Oh and it's nice there too.

You thought you had lag, it took Jesus 3 days to re-spawn.

I sure hope Bungie doesn't go in that direction. I would be greatly disappointed.

Project Natal is a good start to a new way to play games, BUT in its current state is I don't think it is up to the task of replicating first person shooter combat in a way that can be fun or even practical.

IM A LEGIT 16

No, but a training mode like that would be fun...

Actual MP, though? How many complaints would there be from "big boned" people?

That too =P

I laughed so hard after the last sentence "I'm playing halo, no wii sports."

I would feel like a retard doing that.

If Reach is a Natal game I will contort myself to fit inside a box, ship myself UPS to Stosh, and pop out and punch him in the man chunkies.

Seriously...No...If your going to give me a choice give me a keyboard and mouse over Natal.

Simply put no. By doing that you would give a huge variety of people a disadvantage. Natal really isn't developed enough to attempt an FPS game.

"LINK! LISTEN!"

Won't work well. Especially since Elites + Spartans jump around 10 feet and normal people jump like 1-2 feet. Crouch-Jumping would be hard. Hard for the system to know what gun your holding.

But it would be fun to see the MLG Gamers jumping around pretending to shoot eachother!
XD

That would be cool getting a model AR, BR or magnum or something but I don't like the idea. But havn't u noticed in all game demos shown in Natal showed the player in 3rd person? You wouldn't really be able to see your actions. I doubt Bungie will head towards Natal for Halo FPS games

Natal is an awesome idea, with a lot of future potential. Having a game like Halo under it's belt would be the equivalent to the Colbert Bump. If Microsoft is smart, they'll pick a big game like Halo to showcase this new technology.

But I'll hold back on deciding whether or not Reach IS that Halo game. Let's let Natal adapt and advance a bit more after it's release before you incorporate a fast-paced, cardiovascular videogame such as Halo.

Despite the changing clime in gaming to appeal to the casual gamer, I think the heart of quality gaming experience still lies in the keyboard and the Xbox trigger.

Halo just does not suit anything other than the hardcore gamer's delight of FPS. I'd hate to see the trademark FPS controls flung away for some cheap two-week gadget like the Wii.
