Subject: Two questions...

1. I realize no one really knows, but just take an educated guess. How long do you guys think it will be before we find out what ODST's achievements are?

2. So the second disc that comes with the game is suppose to be everything Halo 3 had already, plus all the DLC, right? So it seems logical that you should be able to access all your custom items from the second disc, such as maps and film clips, that were created using the first disc. But, assuming the base map for whatever you are trying to access is not on Longshore, Heretic or Citadel, will the same thing be true in reverse? i.e. will you be able to access things that were created on the second ODST disc, from your original Halo 3 disc?

1. MY guess is probably around a month before it comes out.

1.Who cares
2.The second disc is just the Halo 3 matchmaking stuff.
I imaging Forge and Saved Films will be on the campaign disc.

2. The disc has Matchmaking, custom games, forge, theater, and all the maps. I'm sure your saves are on it.

I don't quite know how that works. I imagine (and this is all speculation by me) that ODST will allow access to these maps from the second disc and in Halo 3. There is a thread concerning this floating about, but I haven't take the time to read it.

1. who knows?

2. good question. i'd hope all your files would transfer, but who knows?

2. I believe you could access halo 3 gametypes and maps on ODST, because they are saved on the harddrive not the disc.

Basically what you're asking is whether we'll be able to play Heretic, Citadel and Longshore from our original discs, as well as playing film clips etc from them on our original discs. YES, we will be able to do that as it will be transferred through the HDD/MU.

What I want to know is whether Heretic, Citadel and Longshore will be purchasable on the Marketplace on 22nd September.

No, what I'm asking is exactly that, but on every map except the three you listed.

I'll make it simpler. Let's say I'm in Team Slayer on High Ground. I'm playing from my "second ODST disc." Let's say I get an Extermination or something, and I want to save the film. So I save it, and it goes off to the hard drive. Later, I'm playing off my original Halo 3 disc that I have right now. High Ground is present on both of those discs, so can I watch that film I made off the "second ODST disc" from my current Halo 3 disc?

And to answer your question, no, I'm pretty sure they said they weren't releasing them as seperate DLC, sorry. ODST looks great though, I don't see why you wouldn't want to get it.

Somewhere out there... in an alternate reality... Marty decided to stay in the ad jingle business, bringing about an age of amazingly orchestrated Pampers commercials.

1. I'd guess it'd be around mid-July.

2. I don't think so, unless when you get the Mythic maps, it downloads for both ODST and Halo 3, because Theatre can't load videos on maps you don't have.
