ODST....60 dollars. If you look back and think about it, this makes perfect sense. Remember Halo? It was a great game! Then came Halo 2. Holy -blam!- that multiplayer was the mad note! Then, Bungie....super cool Bungie brought to us what promised to be the ultimate manifestation of multiplayer action in halo form....140? Ok....I get a cool helmet! 4 weeks later, that same 140 set was down to 80 at retail stores nation-wide! From that point on, Bungie has become very familiar with the rip off. Buy this map pack because it will never be free. You buy it, and its free 3 days later. Buy this map pack...it will never be free, for real! You bought it, sure that Bungie would not lie to you....4 days later, free! OMG! Limited edition super sick map for super cool players! Buy this or you fail at life! Exclusive to champions with money only!!!!!!!!!!! A week later, everyone is a champion....for free of course. with Halo ODST, you are getting a campaign; one Bungie says is worth 60 dollars....what you gonna do? Complain about the price but nobody other than your momma cares. Bungie say 60.....so give 60. You want a reason? Here you are....I've got a few for you...
Pay for lots of Bungie employees--------Millions of Dollars
Pay for publishing and assorted game development fees------Millions of Dollars
Pay for Disc print-------This is actually a close to nothing fee....like 50 cents per disc....but still maybe a few million Dollars?
Time Bungie puts in as they try their asses off to make a game that appeals to an impossible number of people and at the same time, keeps everyone happy so that they don't cry and commit suicide-----priceless
I think 60 is a lot....but games have been priced at 50 since at least n64....so this is nothing new. All of you will complain and ultimately, cave and buy it. When you do, get on-line and scream about how you shot that guy in the head, and how you stuck that guy but it just fell off. When you are tired of all the "cheating" that Halo does, message me on my gamertag and my posse and I will give you and your posse an ass kicking of such intensity, that you will pay Bungie another 60 dollars just to take away your copy of Halo ODST (and the separate disc with the new and not improved copy of halo 3's multiplayer). This will solve 2 things. One, you will be one less 12 year old with that squeaky almost a girl but not quite a girl's voice that I have to yell at in matchmaking because all you do is say you want the sniper and call your team peepee touching flexi dongs cause they don't wear Hayabusa helmets and two, by paying Bungie more money, you will be funding more of the games with the story I love....Maybe, if you cry enough, and I kill you enough, and you give Bungie enough money, they will mention you in the credits for Halo Reach!
I've typed this all during the few seconds between Double Team matches....it has taken almost 2 hours in total I think...you don't get much time...double team loads quickly. I am not gonna spell check it, I'm not checking grammar; you should all get what I mean. If you don't I feel so sorry for you. Give your mother my blessings. Also, don't bother replying to my post, I don't come to this site, I don't read things that little babies send me...ignoring is one of my favorite things to do and I will exercise my rights to ignore as frequently as possible.
Take care everyone! Viva the Halo Story...not so much Bungie and their stupid beatdown-beatdown system....worst mistake ever.
