I think it'd be pretty neat if you could call in air strikes as an ODST. Maybe just for certain missions. It would make sense, you know? Thoughts?

Point Guard: Zaire Taylor (Senior)

Forward: Kim English (Sophomore)
Forward: Laurence (Junior)

Well, no authorities know you are alive, so this wouldn't work.

I'm not sure that the UNSC has bombers to spare.

What do you want next? Call in a helicopter when you have a 7 kill streak (Ha! I made a Call of Duty reference)

Maybe in firefight after so many waves... but I'd rather not.

Self-proclaimed genius.
Roam the streets with a sign, "will love for false hope."

Dare probably did which is why the ONI Alpha Site is annihilated. <.<

But there's really no reason for the Rookie to do so. This isn't Call of Duty where you can summon in Helicopters to kill your opponent more when you're on a spree...

Elite 3000 was HERE >:)
Master Chief looked up at the Brute Captain, the Brute Captain looked up at him. Master Chief quickly aimed his rifle at the Brute's head and said, "LOLOLOL GTFO MY ROFLCOPTOR j00 N00b! LOL"

It's not a squad-based shooter, you're alone in the world (for the most part), and you are not the leader of your squad, so calling airstrikes wouldn't really work out.

Hey -blam!-s, ever heard of -blam!- air support? Who ever said I was comparing this/trying to make this like Call of God Damn Duty? Honestly, it pisses me off how ignorant some of you are. It's perfectly acceptable for an ODST to call in an airstrike once or twice in the game with a longsword or something. Who knows, maybe some fighters were able to scramble. Jesus.

Sargent Forge died...

New Mombasa was just destroyed. The ODSTs were the last reinforcements for the UNSC forces in the area. They were supposed to take the Supercrusier, but it slipspace jumped, destorying New Mombasa. Longsword and Shortsword bombers are out of the question, the Navy got owned, and the Marines are out of reach from New Mombasa, which is controlled by Covenant at the time.

Dude, you can't even find your bloody squad mates. You are looking around this abandoned city and all you can find are bits of detonators, maybe a sniper rifle hanging from a lampost. You think if you pick up the phone to call in an airstrike, that you will seriously get anyone on the other side?
