Subject: Press A to climb.

We all know that ODSTs can't jump very high. No this gives us a problem, surprise attacks. You may set up an ambush with your friends and all hide behind things. Wait 'till the brutes walk into the trap and jump over the thing your hiding behind. Well now that ODSTs can't jump very high I suggest a climb over option. Like COD but less clunky, when I say clunky I mean that in COD somethings you can climb over and some things that you should be able to climb over you can't. This would also make ambushing easier and more tactical. What do you think? Have any better ideas?

i dunno odsts cant jump that high but they sure can jump over a bush. and i dont think bungie will put the "press a to climb" option cuz that would be copying the cod games

Well I guess I better put some pants on.

I feel like I'm gonna break this thing!

Didn't Gears of War do it before Call of Duty? Or did they have it before CoD4? Can't remember off the top of my head.
Either way, it's been used in multiple games before, because it works well in those games, and if it would work well in ODST, I don't see why not to have it.
Also, just because it's been used in another game, why does that mean you can't use it in your game? Halo wasn't the first ever shooter...

It would also be stupid and not Halo'ish.

if knowledge is power and power corrupts, isn't knowledge therefore dangerous?

CoD had it before GoW.
it was in CoD 2 (best of 'em all)

on topic: that'd be nice. besides, look at all the game copying nowadays. not like everyone is only using their ideas...

i don't think an A to climb button would work well with halo. however i think if they placed ladders here and there which you can just walk into to climb, that would be better

Two makes there more than speakers.

i don't think they can do that change now.

Just look upwards the ladder, then move forward. That's the Halo style.

NO GROUP INVITES!!!

You move crates and cars and etc. stuff with grenades and rockets and melee, build stairs, jump and grenade jump. No need for some stupid Climb action.

I dont think so that wouldnt be a good thing to put in.After i see how high they can jump then ill see if it would be a good idea.
