the BR wasn't that great in the campaign so thats why they are probably removing it.
Doubt it. i think it was some "gameplay issues" or some crap like that.
BR was awesome in the campaign. newb combo the brutes & elities, it had more damage output then the other guns, save for the sniper rifle, and shotgun contact shots to the face.
In other news, it's still in the campaign, so you will now be 1 shotted in the face and die, instead of being able to take a few hits like in the previous halo games.
It's out of campaign, but still in multiplayer, which is absolutely retarded.
May I ask where your source is to confirm the given information stated above.
I was told that the BR would be in the multiplayer by other ppl on this forum and posting in this thread in the begining. assuming i could trust their word.
i think they heard it from some bungie ppl on T.V @ E3 or something. with multiple ppl telling me that the BR was in multiplayer, i just thought it was safe to take their word for it.
But if the BR isn't in the game @ all...then I'd be pissed.
if ppl don't like having the BR used against them, here's a sollution;
Bungie could make it so that there is no default spawn on any of the map variants used in Matchmaking.
to have them default, it will be on maps in custom games.
problem solved.
personally i wouldn't mind not having BR's in multiplayer all the time in matchmaking multiplayer, much like how i loved how there was no sniper rifle in Standoff.
Assault Rifle...Battle Rifle,...these weapons NEED to be in the game....just don't make them default spawns in match making. problem solved.
That is a secondary source, not really good enough as evidence, not to offend you/make your hopes deminish.
If you can actually find a E3 coverage video of Halo 3 ODST with Joseph Staten or Brian saying that BRs will be included in ODST's multiplayer, then you have your point proven and you won the case.
Until then, your point is going to be ignored...
