When I grow up, I want to be just like goofenhour.
Personally, I think this is just going to be an idea that's going to sound amazing but plays terrible. It's probably going to end up being annoying because it won't track you when you move or when you pull the trigger, however that may work. Then it's going to be a problem. It's problem not going to be advanced enough for Halo: Reach or FPS in general.
I mean lets think about this. If I were to lift my hand in the air to simulate to reload, Natal could possibly pick it up to many different things. Such as throwing a grenade, beatdown, switching weapons. And it's got to be able to pick this up in milliseconds. With motion control, it can't pick it up and process it up that quickly. That's why a controller works better.
That's why I don't see many FPS switching to Natal. I can some games being developed around Natal, but I don't see many FPS utilizing it. Motion Control is typically inconsistent and doesn't always do what you want to do, which can really cause problems with high action FPS, which the smallest error can cause you to die, such as Halo 3.
So the summary of my argument, I think that it will be unlikely that Natal will be used in Halo: Reach.
