Is it just me or is it too soon to officially announce to the public that you are releasing a new-new game when everybody has a little idea about what your old-new game is about? I mean before E3 nobody had any idea what ODST was going to be about other than the fact that it was you in the city after Master Chief left after Halo 2 and that you were a rookie ODST marine. I think that there is nothing wrong with the announcement of Halo Reach if you consider ODST to be just an add-on pack for Halo 3, but for the people who wanted to experience ODST and play some of the campaign and enjoy it, other than just rushing through it and waiting for Halo Reach to come out, it might have been to early to announce it. Although people may argue that Halo 3 has been out for such a long time that maybe they should release 2 almost consecutively but Halo CE came out in like 2001, then Halo 2 came out in like 2004, Halo 3 in 2007 so really if they continued the trend Halo Reach would come out in 2010, which it will and ODST might come out earlier because it is considered an add-on to Halo 3. And now that they just gave us that little teaser, and the beta in Halo ODST, I am pretty excited to play Reach but disappointed in the timing.
